1.Before any agreement exists
You can cancel a task that is under review or open for offers at any time in My tasks. It costs nothing. Open price offers are closed.
2.Customer cancels after agreement
You can cancel from My tasks as long as the work is not completed. The provider is notified.
No cancellation fee is charged today. A fee will only be introduced after being checked against consumer law and shown clearly before you approve an agreement.
Decision required: Whether, when and how large a cancellation fee may be charged, and who receives it.
3.Provider cancels
If the provider cancels, the task reopens for other providers and you are notified. If you have paid, the payment should be refunded or moved to a new agreement if you wish.
4.Provider or customer no-show
If the provider does not show up, report it via Report an issue. The task is reviewed and can be cancelled with a full refund.
If the customer is absent or gives no access, report it in chat and via Report an issue. The outcome is assessed case by case until a rule is set.
Decision required: Rules for compensation when the customer does not show up.
5.Work that cannot be completed
If the work turns out to be materially different from the description or cannot be done safely, it must not be carried out at a different price. Cancel or make a new agreement.
6.Defective work
Do not approve work with defects – report the problem. The task then becomes a dispute that is reviewed. The decision may be approval, reopening the work for correction, or cancelling the task.
Your rights under the Swedish Consumer Services Act apply regardless.
7.Refunds
Payments run in test mode and no real refunds are made today.
Once payment is live, amounts are refunded to the same payment method via the payment provider. How long it takes depends on your bank.
8.Failed payment
If payment is not completed within the payment window, the reservation is released and the task may reopen for others. No work starts without confirmed payment.
9.Withdrawal is something else
Cancellation under this policy is separate from the statutory consumer right of withdrawal. Read about it on the Right of withdrawal page.
