Insurance & liability

What applies if something breaks.

Here we explain the difference between types of damage and liability – and where POFFIX stands today.

Status: no insurance in place

POFFIX currently has no insurance covering tasks, providers or customers' property. No work via POFFIX is automatically insured. When insurance exists, the insurer, scope, excess, exclusions and how to file a claim will be published here.

  • Property damage

Damage to things, such as a dropped piece of furniture or a scratched floor.

  • Personal injury

When someone is hurt during the work.

  • Provider liability

The person doing the work is liable for damage caused by negligence.

  • Customer responsibility

The customer must disclose risks and make sure the site is safe to work in.

  • Platform responsibility

POFFIX is responsible for running the service with reasonable care, but does not perform the work.

  • Exclusions

Tasks prohibited under the safety rules would never be covered by any future insurance.

Until then
