1.Examples of allowed tasks
Carrying and moving furniture, simple removal to a recycling centre in your own car, furniture assembly, simple fixes such as hanging pictures, garden care, cleaning, errands, pet care, property checks and help photographing and selling items.
2.Restricted tasks – reviewed manually
• Tasks in the Other task category.
• Work on a ladder or at heights above roughly two metres.
• Heavy lifting needing several people or equipment.
• Tasks involving keys or access to a home when the customer is absent.
• Tasks involving children or people in vulnerable situations.
Decision required: Which restricted tasks should be allowed after review and with what requirements.
3.Prohibited tasks
• Electrical installation and work on fixed electrical installations (requires authorisation).
• Plumbing work requiring certification, gas or heating systems.
• Commercial goods or waste transport requiring a permit, and driving the customer's vehicle.
• Handling hazardous waste, asbestos or dangerous chemicals.
• Roof work, facade work and felling trees near buildings or power lines.
• Care, nursing and medical help.
• Anything unlawful, such as undeclared work or tasks intended to harm someone.
4.Conduct
Be respectful, be on time and stop work that becomes dangerous. Make no deals outside POFFIX. Share only the details needed.
5.If something happens
In an emergency: call 112. Then report the incident via Report an issue. Reports are handled confidentially by authorised administrators.
